1. Check Your License Status
Visit the Michigan Secretary of State’s website to verify your eligibility for license reinstatement.
- Click this link then click the Go TO DAIS button (to access the Driver Appeal Integrated System).
- Sign-in or create an account then follow the prompts to access the “Secretary of State Online Services.”
NOTE: You will need to provide your driver license number.

4. Submit Your Documention
After installation, you will receive an official installation certificate with a raised seal. You must then take the physical copy and submit it to the *Michigan Secretary of State to officially begin your required interlock monitoring period.
*If you are obtaining your license through a Specialty Court, you must take your installation certificate to your monitoring authority who will then submit to the Secretary of State for you.
